District 4 EMS OTEP Training District 4's EMS training follows the state requirements for ongoing training known as OTEP (On going training and evaluation program). This is a state controlled program with specific requirements done over a three year time period for EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) continued education and recertification. The program includes 6 each medical and trauma modules as well as yearly CPR update, and bi-annual defibrilation, and airway management including king airway updates. This program would not be possible without the hard work of our EMS training coordinator Captain Gino Palomino and our dedicated BLS (basic life support) evaluators. Kinimatics
